What a great Batch of Vintage Halloween Costumes from the 50's and earlier we just picked up. We even got a partial on a 1930's Little Orphan Annie Costume!
I just received a case of 8 Star Trek Tumbers, a silver engraved Cigarette box, a signed cast card from the crew of Lassie all previously owned by the recently deceased George Rutter. Mr. Rutter was a Script supervisor on many shows including Lassie & Star Trek.
Any idea of the best way to sell these items?
Mr. Lucky
PS. I also have an orignal poster of Jello Biafra when he ran for mayor of San Francisco!
Another flight, another Airport, another hotel room, another Sunday night. But I think it ends there.
This is different already. I opened the window in my room, to the night and San Francisco rushed in and filled my room: Herb Caen over coffee & Chinamen scurrying up Grant Ave to an unknown doorway and an unknown meal.
Three Hippies tossed a frisbee on an endless Sunday afternoon while Grace Slick sings "Lather was thirty years old today, They took away all of his toys."
Two old men steady their way by holding old hands together, not in love but with fear concern until they reach the edge of the pier.
And the rich full air of San Francisco tossles thinning white hair and fills their lungs with memories of youth and girls, and glasses of wine. They had each felt that air one morning while she made eggs and toast while they listened to San Francisco through the open window.
It is different now. But the air is still full of chill and good cheer and brightens your cheek and lets you think about that one night and that one day.
Just some thoughts, just some things I wanted to say. I can't talk to my rummy friends about so many things so I just leave these little crumbs, strings of words that might cause a smile or stir an old memory in a good way.
The three of us moved into the California Desert a few years back so we could continue to expand our business. We have collections of our own included nearly 2000 sets of vintage Salt & Peppers, Antique Advertising and Travel Posters, 60's Rock Ephemera, and even Susan have a huge collection of Frogs & Tea Pots from around the world!
Pinkie, Susan and I have been Online Sellers since 2001. Selling in addition as Urban Miners and MyRetroMom, we have an on-going Ebay Auction business with over 3000 satisfied Customers and positive comments. Most frequently, buyers on-line comment on the speed of our shipments and the care we take in packaging their items.
We have spent years collecting treasures at Auctions and Sales, and with special support from some friends on Antiques Roadshow on PBS. Many of our toys and Vintage Collectables come right from Pop Culture Appraisers like Gary Sohmers, providing us with an incredible resource of information and quality products!
We are frequent Travelers all around the US and even sometimes Europe, always keeping our "eye" open for a little treasure or a truckload of great goodies.

Poppa Cultured,
Will you answer my toy questions here or should I e-mail you?
